A glimpse into my student-reseracher life

From benchwork to breakdowns, sharing what I've learned is one of my favorite ways to combine creation, mentorship, and science.

The Nam Lab, Summer 2025

A day in my life at the Nam Lab, where I work as a research intern.

Sample preparations, western blots and manuscript editing

I try to show up teachable, eager, and committed every day, even when things don’t go as planned. We keep pushing forward regardless!

From troubleshooting experiments to running slides before sunrise, benchwork teaches me how much persistence matters in science. No result is wasted: we’re always one step closer.

TUTORING VIDEOS

I’ve been working as a tutor since high school, helping students in organic chemistry, biochemistry, general chemistry, general biology, and AP physics. Over time, I’ve come to appreciate that mentorship isn’t one-size-fits-all: Every student learns differently. In my videos, I use humor, storytelling, and analogies to make complex topics more approachable and engaging. These recordings reflect my teaching style and the joy I find in helping others learn.
